Agronomist /
Botanist

With his experience and knowledge, he is the number 1 advisor in matters of cultivation, fertilization, harvesting, erosion and soil composition. He prevents the onset of diseases and ensures that the best conditions are met so that Agropod products meet quality standards and comply with Health Canada standards.
Functions and Responsibilities
  • Establish and standardize methodologies and protocols for cultivating cannabis.
  • Develop the nutrient regime.
  • Perform soil analyzes.
  • Evaluate plant growth
  • Perform quality control testing to ensure products meet Agropod standards.
  • Participate in cultivation activities (leaf stripping, cloning, transplanting, defoliation, harvesting and others).
  • Keep a log of data on the follow-up of the work carried out, the results of the research and the use of the equipment.
Desired skills and qualifications
  • Be a member of the Professional Order of Agronomists.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field (botany, plant biology).
  • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in growing cannabis for medical purposes (asset).
  • Be methodical, passionate and organized.
  • Possess knowledge related to cultivation, fertilization, harvesting and soil composition techniques.
  • Possess the physical skills necessary to work in a hot and humid work environment.
