Production
Assistant
Under the responsibility of the production manager, the assistant will ensure the execution of the production of varieties of cannabis plants (from sowing to packaging), site hygiene and will follow procedures while respecting the top quality standards from Agropod.
Functions and Responsibilities
-
Perform cultivation, production and maintenance activities.

Perform the production, process and distribution of cannabis under Health Canada guidelines.

Apply innovative farming methods to improve yield.

Meet the growth needs of cannabis plants (lighting, watering, soil pH, nutrients, etc.).

Maintain growing areas and adjacent plants in a clean, organized and safe manner.

All other related tasks.
Desired skills and qualifications
-
Possess a college diploma in horticulture, agronomy or other.

Have 2-3 years of experience in commercial farming or horticulture (preferred).

Good manual dexterity.

Have a good work ethic and a positive team attitude.
-
Be an organized, methodical, detail-oriented person with good time management skills.

Possess the physical and health skills necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of an outdoor growing facility.

Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
